Charity Sale
This lunchtime I visited the DRCS Postcard Art Sale and Exhibition (at Ashover in Derbyshire). About six months ago I sent them a postcard sized seascape, lot number 340. I pleased to say it has sold to a buyer for £15 (all paintings cost the same). There were over 700 entries in theis fascinating exhibition including some entries from the famous, inluding Harry Hill, Jim Broadbent and Ian Hislop. I bought a postcard by a celeb but I won't know who it is until it arrives. It was a rather gruesome pen and ink sketch which I'm very pleased with. I will post a photo of it when it arrives.
